Robert Downey Jr. Wants To Be The Voice Of Mark Zuckerberg’s AI, But He Has One “Strange” Condition

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is currently trying to model his home after Tony Stark’s by having an AI construct run the whole house. He’s currently looking for someone to provide the voice and Robert Downey Jr. has stepped up as a potential candidate. He just has one odd request first.

Downey has requested that a charitable donation be made if he takes the job, which certainly isn’t a weird request. However, Downey has added his own unique spin to the whole thing :he wants Paul Bettany, aka Jarvis, aka The Vision, to receive the money and donate it to a charity of Benedict Cumberbatch’s, aka Doctor Strange’s, choosing.

That is certainly a very specific request, but we’re sure that Zuckerberg would comply if he really wants Downey for the job. Our only question is: why isn’t Bettany automatically getting the position? He provided the voice of the AI Jarvis, after all, and if we had the means to build an entire AI to look after our home, we wouldn’t want anyone else for the job.

Then again, perhaps Zuckerberg is in the market for the snarky wit of Robert Downey Jr. over the charming British wit of Paul Bettany. We can’t possibly understand why, but hey, who are we to tell him who he can and can’t have voice his personal AI home buddy?
