Today at an event in Los Angeles, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 developer Treyarch revealed a bunch of new info about the game … and it turns out that everything that was previously rumored about it is true.

For starters, Black Ops 4 will indeed not offer a single player campaign, which is sure to be a big point of contention for many fans who enjoy Call of Duty’s solo offerings each year.

Instead, Call of Duty will be looking to go head-to-head with games like Fortnite: Battle Royale and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with its own battle royale-inspired mode called Blackout. Treyarch did not show this mode in action and it’s unclear if it will support 100 players, but did reveal that it will fought across land, sea, and air, which means that vehicles will be present in some capacity.

Elsewhere, Zombie mode has been overhauled and scaled way up. In addition to a bunch of new customization options, there will be mini campaigns of sorts that switch up the tone. A few of these campaigns were shown off, including one set in a gladiatorial arena and the other on a cruise ship.

There are changes coming to gameplay as well, as Black Ops 4 is bringing back health bars and doing away with regenerating health. You also won’t see any wall-running or thrust jumping this time around.
