WATCH: Apple Unveils Long-Awaited ‘Apple TV Plus’ Video Subscription Service

Apple has officially thrown its hat into the streaming service ring alongside Netflix and Amazon.

During a special event held at Steve Jobs theater, Apple announced a new video streaming service called ‘Apple TV+’. The new service will include original programming from some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, everyone from actress Reese Witherspoon to director Steven Spielberg. In addition, Apple has partnered with various third-party content providers, including the likes of HBO and ShowTime. Better yet, users will have the option to pick and choose which networks they’d like to subscribe to.

The service will be on-demand, ad-free, and capable of downloading content even while offline.
