Christmas is coming early for Beatles fans this year, as the Fab Four’s entire catalog — 13 studio albums, both Past Masters volumes, and the “Red”, “Blue”, and 1 compilation — is being made available on Apple Music, Deezer, Google Play, Microsoft Groove, Napster/Rhapsody, Amazon Prime Music, Slacker Radio, Spotify, and Tidal.
Everything will be available starting at one minute past midnight in each country. Although some may scoff at the news, arguing that they already have all the albums anyway, The Beatles landing on streaming services is a pretty big deal. They’re still one of the most popular bands in the world, even 45 years after they split-up, and most importantly, their music endures and will likely be eaten up by music fans who only use services like Apple Music and Spotify to get their music.
Plus, there’s something to be said for the convenience of having the greatest band’s entire discography available in one go. Talk about an embarassment of riches.
