Eminem’s “Killshot” Diss Track Breaks 24-Hour YouTube Debut Record

As reported by Nick Mojica of XXL, the Killshot diss track Eminem released last Friday has officially become the biggest debut of any hip-hop video and the third largest of any song in YouTube history. Released in response to Machine Gun Kelly’s Rap Devil, Em’s diss track received a ridiculous 38.1 million views over the first 24 hours and has since grown to roughly 81 million.

Check out Killshot below.

Although this accomplishment might not mean anything to some, fellow rapper and friend 50 Cent took to Twitter early this morning to praise the Detroit rapper’s achievement, while also reminding everyone that Em is not to be taken lightly.

Does it surprise you that Eminem’s most recent track also happens to be one of the biggest of his career, or does this all make sense given the growth of YouTube and social media?
