Social media aficionados will surely cry a single tear with the news that rapper 50 Cent is quitting Instagram because the government keeps bugging him.
Currently in the middle of a bankruptcy case after losing a hefty lawsuit, 50 announced late Thursday night/early Friday morning that he planned to abandon his IG account and let someone else run it.
“I’m done with IG after tonight. Someone else will operate it for me.”
The problem, apparently, is that he keeps posting about how much money he has and how luxurious his life is, while at the same time claims to be $36 million in debt with only $20 million in assets. That didn’t stop him from posting multiple photos of the massive stacks of cash he has just laying around the house. Ya know, in buckets, where all normal people keep their spare spending money.
The judge in his bankruptcy case didn’t like that, and 50 claims the Secret Service even investigated whether the cash was real, just a prop, or actually counterfeit.
“I have millions of dollar in my company’s, the court knows this. I was accused of committing fraud with nothing but a IG photo. I can careless what these people think of me but it’s not right. Now someone from secret service is asking if prop money was counter fitted. How the f**k would I know that sh*t head? Smh”
Social media will miss you, 50. Here is one of his most recent “court approved” social media posts. Great stuff.
