WATCH: Trailer For Creepy Netflix Original Horror Movie That Comes Out Friday

Netflix continues to sink millions (and even billions) of dollars into creating original programming, slowly moving away from their previous model of buying streaming rights to third party content. For the most part, this is a good thing — commercial free, original content (that is usually pretty good) for roughly $10 a month. It’s a sweet deal.

With Halloween around the corner, Netflix released a trailer for their new horror movie I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House. Unlike other trailers, which usually come out weeks or months ahead of a film’s release date, this movie hits streaming devices this week. Friday, to be exact.

I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, which is an intriguing but long winded name for a movie, stars Ruth Wilson (The Affair) as a live-in nurse who takes care of an elderly writer when she becomes ill. Naturally, the house is haunted by… something. The movie first premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.
