When did high school become so cool?
As reported by The A.V. Club, over the weekend a video of a high school play went viral for remaking Ridley Scott’s 1979 sci-fi horror film Alien. While reenacting a movie like that isn’t exactly the norm, students at North Bergen High School felt it would be a perfect choice, and we wholeheartedly agree. The level of detail of both the sets and costumes is truly remarkable, especially the ‘chest-bursting’ scene; that really blew us away. That said, what impressed us most was that the school didn’t pay for a thing, the students raised the money and built everything themselves using recycled materials.
