WATCH: First Hellboy Reboot Footage Leaks Online

Anticipation for the upcoming Hellboy reboot is at an all-time high, as new footage shown at New York Comic-Con has leaked online.

Fans had the opportunity to view a bit of footage from the 2019 Hellboy reboot at the event, though Lionsgate hasn’t released it online yet. Fortunately, there’s always someone ready to record a poor quality cam version.

We’ve included the leaked footage below, but there’s a good chance it will be taken down at any moment:

It’s not the greatest quality but it’s definitely worth viewing if you’re interested in the new Hellboy film. We get a pretty good look at David Harbour’s lead performance, along with other stars Sasha Lane, Ian McShane, Daniel Dae Kim, and Milla Jovovich. Director Neil Marshall seems to be taking a less comical, more mature and dark take on the franchise than previous director Guillermo del Toro’s fantasy-driven adaptations.

Now that the trailer has leaked online, we’re hoping that Lionsgate will figure out the cat’s out of the bag and choose to release their own better quality trailer soon.

Hellboy will hit theaters on April 12th of 2019, which means the film’s marketing campaign will kick off relatively soon whether the leak affects it or not.
