Finding Dory, the long-awaited sequel to Pixar’s 2003 hit Finding Nemo, is still a few months away. Fortunately, Ellen DeGeneres introduced a brand new trailer for the film on her show today.
The trailer explores the film’s core narrative in more detail, showing how Dory is inspired to find her family. It turns out that she was born at the Marine Biology Institute of California, where a large chunk of the film will take place. Joining the cast are Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy as the voices of Dory’s parents, with DeGeneres reprising her role of Dory and Albert Brooks as Nemo’s dad Marlin.
Finding Dory hits theaters June 17.
