Fast and Furious 8 may still be more than a year away from release, but that hasn’t stopped franchise star Vin Diesel from spilling the beans on when we can expect to see the next two installments after that.
Making the announcement on his Instagram account yesterday or as Diesel calls it, “Toretto Tuesday” (you can’t make this stuff up), the actor teased the news by posting a photo of him and his daughter, with the caption ,”Happy Toretto Tuesday…P.s. The studio has asked me to release some very big Fast news…Give me a minute though, for I am still in that Xander state of Mind.”
True to his word, Diesel took a break from his XxX “state of mind” and proceeded to post the promised news a few hours later:
So in addition to Fast 8 releasing next year on April 14, we can now look forward to a 9th installment on April 19, 2019 and a 10th on April 2, 2021. That’s all well and good Vin, but no one cares about the 9th and 10th entries in a film franchise. When are we getting the 11th?!
