Earlier today Tom Holland revealed the third Spider-Man solo film begins shooting in Atlanta this July and that Zendaya will reprise her role.

During a recent interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer’s Ruben V. Nepales to promote the release of Pixar’s Onward, the English-born actor was if Spider-Man 3 is still happening and if he’ll be appearing in any other Marvel movies in the future.

“Yes is the answer to that question. I’m super happy about it. We will be shooting “Spider-Man 3” in July in Atlanta. As for me showing up in other Marvel movies, I’m not sure as to what they want me to do.”

Holland was then asked if Zendaya was playing MJ again and if the two were still together.

“In “Spider-Man 3,” Zendaya will most definitely be in the film. As to the relationship between Peter and MJ, I’m not too sure what it will be.”

Considering the commercial and critical success of both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home, Marvel has a lot of weight on their shoulders to deliver another great film. However, they haven’t given us much reason to doubt them in that past, so we’re not going to start now.

While speaking at the D23 Expo last August, Holland  claimed the future of the Spider-Man universe would be much “different.”

“Who knows what the future holds? But all I know is that I’m going to continue playing Spider-Man and having the time of my life. It’s going to be so fun however we choose to do it. The future for Spider-Man will be different, but it will be equally as awesome and amazing, and we’ll find new ways to make it even cooler.”
