This ’10 Cloverfield Lane’ Super Bowl Spot Just Creates More Questions

It’s been a while since a major movie release has been shrouded in as much secrecy as the upcoming 10 Cloverfield Lane. Ever since the first trailer dropped about a month ago, fans have been theorizing about exactly why John Goodman and his family(?) have locked themselves inside a bomb shelter and refuse to go outside.

This new spot, which aired during the Super Bowl, doesn’t do much to answer that question. In fact, now we’re even more curious! Goodman’s character mentions something about being prepared for the apocalypse, because he knew it was coming. How did he know? What is going on outside that bunker? 10 Cloverfield Lane hits theaters on March 11.
