There’s A ‘Deadpool 2’ Teaser Trailer Buried In This Hilarious ‘Joy Of Painting’ Spoof

The Merc with a Mouth has proven yet again to be a master of viral marketing, as Ryan Reynolds takes center stage in this ridiculously awesome spoof of The Joy of Painting TV series, with Deadpool filling in for the legendary Bob Ross.

The parody also happens to be a teaser trailer for Deadpool 2.

After a minute-and-a-half of painting jokes — want to see Deadpool “whack off” his paint brushes? He does it twice here — the trailer transitions into a sizzle reel of footage from the much-anticipated sequel. Sadly, we don’t get to see Josh Brolin’s Cable in action, but ol’ Wade Wilson makes sure to draw our attention to the grizzled mutant by putting him in one of his paintings. Such a good friend.

Here is the “official” synopsis for Deadpool 2 released alongside the “Wet on Wet” teaser:

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on June 1, 2018.
