We already know that Batman will figure into the plot of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, but it looks like another superheroic member of the Justice League will also be joining in on the fun when the film hits theaters August 5.
Variety is reporting that Ezra Miller will make a cameo as The Flash in the wacky villain team-up film. Warner Bros disclosed this information in the Suicide Squad press notes from critics screenings this week.
It’s still unknown what The Flash’s impact on the story will be or if Miller’s scenes were shot during the film’s spring reshoots earlier this year.
Miller briefly made his debut as The Flash in this year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will be a main character in the superhero ensemble picture Justice League, due out in 2017, as well as his own standalone film scheduled for 2018.
Suicide Squad is diercted by David Ayer and stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, and Jared Leto.
