Scarlett Johansson is about to match her male co-stars’ earnings, as the Black Widow actress is set to earn a reported $15 million for her role in the upcoming standalone movie based on her Marvel character.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this figure “equals what Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth earned for playing Captain America and Thor, respectively, in this year’s Avengers: Infinity War.” Evans and Hemsworth also earned $15 million each for their appearances in Captain America: Civil War and Thor: Ragnarok, respectively, and are set to receive the same amount for Avengers 4.

Johansson first played Black Widow in 2010’s Iron Man 2 and received “about a low-seven figure salary for the first Avengers movie in 2012.” Her male co-star, Robert Downey Jr., took home $50 million in that same movie.

One of Marvel’s other leading ladies, Brie Larson, will reportedly earn $5 million for her role in Captain Marvel, the first MCU film to feature a woman in the starring role. However, Larson is set to earn much more than that in the years to come, as she signed a seven-picture deal with Marvel that locks her into multiple franchises.

Black Widow (we’re just going to go ahead and assume that will be the film’s title) currently has no release date, but director Cate Shortland has stated that it will be set prior to the events of the original Avengers.
