Latino-Review, which is generally a pretty reliable source when it comes to superhero movie rumors, has just revealed a massive one for Thor: Ragnarok that gets into some pretty heavy SPOILER territory. If you don’t want to know significant details regarding the film’s plot, it’s best not to read any further.

As most people who have been following details regarding the 2017 sequel to Thor: The Dark World are already aware, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk has already been confirmed to appear in Thor: Ragnarok, at least some of it being a road movie of sorts between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the angry green guy. Up until now, it’s been assumed that Hulk somehow finds his way into deep space after taking off in a Quinjet at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, but it still wasn’t clear how Marvel was going to get the two mighty heroes to meet up.

According to Latino-Review, Marvel will be borrowing quite heavily from the Planet Hulk comics storyline. At some point in Thor: Ragnarok, Thor will find himself banished to another planet and forced to fight in some sort of gladiatorial arena. Care to wager a guess who his big opponent will be?

That’s right: the God of Thunder will encounter his fellow Avenger in the arena. It seems safe to assume that the two will eventually put aside their differences and take off for intergalactic adventures together, but not before we’re treated to round two of the epic brawl started on the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier in the first Avengers film.

Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled for release November 3, 2017.
