The Bond 25 rumor mill continues to churn, with this week’s news coming by way of a post on IMDb Pro (thanks to Phil Noblie Jr. of Birth.Movies.Death. for spotting it) that lists Nolan’s production company, Syncopy, as being attached to Bond 25.
At first, it was thought that this was a mistake on IMDb’s part, prompting fan account @Bond25Film to reach out for clarification. IMDb confirmed that the information on their site is correct and that Syncopy is indeed developing Bond 25. Unsurprisingly, this has led to speculation that Nolan may even be directing the film.

While Nolan may indeed be producing Bond 25, it’s way too early to assume that he will be sitting in the director’s chair. Moreover, Nolan’s overly serious filmmaking style is arguably not the best fit for the franchise right now after the negative reaction to Spectre’s notably dour tone.
That being said, Nolan is no doubt a very talented filmmaker and we’d be lying if we said we’re not at least interested to see what his take on the franchise would look like, especially with Bond 25 likely to be Daniel Craig’s final outing as the suave British spy (and hey, Tom Hardy thinks he’d do a great job!) But for now, we’re taking a wait and see approach to this whole situation.
