Pixar is having a remarkable year, releasing two feature length films — Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur, due out this November — in the same calendar year for the first time in the company’s history. Seemingly building off their current momentum, the studio has now taken a cue from Marvel, another Disney-owned studio, and unveiled their release schedule for the next five years.
While the schedule is packed with sequels, with the just-announced Coco being the only entirely new film in the bunch, fans probably aren’t too concerned considering favorites Finding Nemo and The Incredibles are both finally getting follow-ups. It’s hard to get excited about the prospect of yet another Cars movie, but it’s a merchandising goldmine, so we’re willing to forgive it when the rest of the lineup looks so promising.

It’s going to be a long wait for The Incredibles II’s 2019 release date, that’s for sure.
