The latest Deadpool 2 trailer dropped earlier today and, among other things, it finally confirms who Terry Crews is playing in the much-anticipated sequel.
The trailer shows Deadpool assembling his team of anti-heroes known as the (totally derivative) X-Force. In the comics, characters such as Wolverine, Domino (Zazie Beetz) and even Cable (Josh Brolin) have been part of the group but up until now, it hasn’t been quite clear who Crews is starring as.
As IGN points out, there’s a brief sequence in the trailer where you can spot Deadpool flipping through a few headshots of potential X-Force members, with one of the headshots belonging to Terry Crews. If you look closely at the screenshot below, you’ll see that his character goes by the name Bedlam. As in, Jesse Bedlam, an expert in hand-to-hand combat with the ability to generate electromagnetic fields, who has been part of the X-Force since the 1995 comic Factor X #1.
You’ll be able to spot Crews in action as Jesse Bedlam in Deadpool 2 when it opens in theaters on May 18.
