‘Logan’ Director Shares First Look At Hugh Jackman’s Older Wolverine

If you’ve been paying attention to the rumors and reports that have been popping up about Logan, aka Wolverine 3, over the past few months, then you probably already know that the film will be adapting the Old Man Logan comic book. Although we’ve so far seen a few shots of different characters from the movie — most recently, a look at Stephen Merchant’s albino mutant Caliban — we haven’t actually seen what Hugh Jackman will look like in the film.

Fortunately, Logan director James Mangold has finally given a first look at Jackman’s aged-up Logan and it’s quite a sight to behold:

As reported previously, Wolverine is sick and losing his ability to heal when we first meet him in the film and this picture definitely seems to corroborate those reports. Jackman’s character looks rugged, worn down, and is sprouting a nasty scar running down the side of his face that a younger Logan’s healing factor would have made quick work of.

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017. A trailer should be arriving any week now .. we hope.
