Spider-Man: Homecoming

Leaked Set Photos For ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Reveal New Villain

A new batch of set photos have surfaced for next year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and they show someone who looks an awful lot like a familiar Spider-Man villain. We already know that both The Vulture and The Tinkerer will feature into the film’s plot, but if you don’t want to know the identity of a potential third villain, it’s probably best not to read any further.

Here are the new photos, which as the Twitter link claims, show actor Bokeem Woodbine in costume as Shocker:

Although the pictures aren’t of great quality, it certainly looks like Shocker.  We’ve had five Spider-Man movies released since 2002 and not one of them has featured the electrically-charged villain, so it would make sense for Homecoming to feature him alongside Vulture and Tinkerer, both of whom are also making their live action debuts in the new film. Hopefully we’ll get get to see all three of them in action soon in a trailer, which should be arriving sometime in the next few months.
