Netflix star Lana Condor has a desire to play a female Spider-Man in Sony’s live-action “Spider-Verse,” and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

During an interview with CinePOP to promote the upcoming release of Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel, Condor was asked it she’d be interested in playing another superhero in the future, given her experience playing Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse. To our surprise, the up-and-coming actress responded by saying, “I’d love to play like the female Spider-Man, I think would be really cool. I would love to play, gosh, yeah, I think that.”

Now, after giving it some thought, we believe Condor would make an excellent Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, but it also crossed our mind that she might make an even better Cindy Moon/Silk, although it might make more sense to introduce Spider-Woman first. In our opinion, if Sony is interested in Drew or Moon joining the Spider-Verse in the near future, Condor would be an ideal candidate.

What are your thoughts on Sony introducing a female Spider-Man? Do you think Condor should be considered, or can you think of another actress better suited for either of the roles? Let us know in the comments below.
