How They Made It: Kung Fury Visual Effects Breakdown

We loved Kung Fury, the independent short film that took the internet by storm with it’s retro 80s action movie style and hilarious nerdy script.

The 31-minute film was made after a teaser trailer helped raise $630,000 on Kickstarter, allowing director (and star) David Sandberg to make a polished-looking film that was heavy on special effects. If you ever wondered how some of those stunning visuals were done, you should check out this video where Sandberg breaks down some of the more difficult shots.
