Universal Studios has released the second Halloween trailer, and to be honest, we’re not sure what to make of it. Led by Jamie Lee Curtis and directed by David Gordon Green, the once popular slasher franchise makes its return to the big screen on October 19, 2018.
The second trailer provides a much clearer understanding of the film’s plot. By the looks of it, Michael Myers has escaped, and Laurie Strode, his sister, is preparing to take him out, once and for all. How this is different than previous iterations I don’t know, but if Green can deliver a terrifyingly awesome movie, nobody will care about a bit of déjà vu.
Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse Productions, has said that wants nothing more than Green’s Halloween revival to succeed because it would leave the door wide open for other classic horror films, such as Nightmare on Elm Street, to get the same treatment.
