Hot on the heels of Jurassic World, the highest grossing film of the year (so far), are speculation rumors about what the sequel will hold. The movie, which is scheduled to come out June 22, 2018, is as of yet untitled, but that hasn’t stopped people from wondering about what characters will make an appearance.
This includes Jurassic World cast member Bryce Dallas Howard, who thinks the follow-up film could feature more characters from the original Jurassic Park movies, such as Alan Grant and Ian Malcolm. In an interview with IGN she stated:
“I could see versions of the film where a lot of the characters come back, and just as a fan of the franchise, I would be totally stoked on that. It’s so cool BD [Wong] was in this movie.
“I get like any person who was a fan of the first film I get such a rush at the possibility of characters coming back.”
While Jurassic World did star one original cast member, BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, it sounds like the sequel may bring back others as well. We’ll just have to wait and see!
In the meantime, you can pick up the Blu-ray of Jurassic World, which will be released on October 20th.
