Colin Farrell is a big fan of Matt Reeves and believes his Batman script is something special.

While on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his latest movie, The Gentleman – which arrives in theatres this Friday – Farrell was asked about his role as the Penguin in the upcoming Batman movie, and although he couldn’t reveal much, he took the time to praise Matt Reeves and his script, calling it “really beautiful, dark, moving script, really gorgeous.” The Irish actor went on to talk about the film’s remarkable cast, playing a bad guy (again), and if he’s planning to put on some weight to play the iconic, Oswald Cobblepot.

What are your thoughts on Farrell playing the Penguin? Do you wish Reeves had cast Josh Gadd or Jonah Hill instead or do you think he got it right? Let us know in the comments below.
