Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is one of the strangest movie titles we’ve ever heard, and after less than a week in theatres, Warner Bros. has already decided to hit the reset button. After only managing to pull in roughly $33 million at the box office this past weekend, Warner is officially rebranding the film as Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey.

As you can see below, thanks to Stitch Kingdom via Twitter, the AMC app has changed the title of the film as requested by Warner Bros.

Directed by Cathy Yan and based on the DC Comics team of the same name, Birds of Prey stars and stars Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, Ali Wong, and Ewan McGregor.

Some fans might remember this happening a few years back when Tom Cruise’s 2014 sci-fi film Edge of Tomorrow, which has since become a fan favorite, was rebranded as Live Die Repeat for home release following a disappointing box office showing. The film went on to gross nearly $370 million worldwide and becoming a financial success.

Do you think rebranding Birds of Prey will turn things around? Are you planning to see the movie in theatres? Let us know in the comments below.
