Netflix can’t get enough of The Sandman!

As reported by Deadline early today, Adam Sandler and Happy Madison Productions have officially agreed on a new deal with Netflix to make four new movies. Prior to the new agreement, Sandler had partnered with Netflix to make Ridiculous 6, The Do-Over, Sandy Wexler, The Week Of, Murder Mystery, and the soon to be released, Hubie Halloween.

Shortly after the deal was announced, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos shared his thoughts on the new deal and what a joy it’s been like working with the iconic SNL alum.

“Whether you know him as Sandman, the Water Boy, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Nick Spitz or simply Adam, one thing is clear: our members can’t get enough of him. They love his stories and his humor, as we saw with Murder Mystery. So I could not be more excited to extend our partnership with Adam and the Happy Madison team and deliver more laughs around the world.”

For those who missed it in theatres, the Safdie brothers’ movie, Uncut Gemsstarring Adam Sandler, Kevin Garnett, Lakeith Stanfield, Julia Fox, Mike Francesa, Idina Menzel, and Eric Bogosian, arrives on Netflix today!
