One of Spider-Man’s most iconic adversaries might be making his long-awaited live-action debut, and the impact he’ll have on Spidey’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be substantial.

As reported by The Illuminerdi earlier this morning, a casting grid revealed Sony is planning to make a solo Kraven the Hunter movie, with the character being described as a “maniacal big-game hunter,” similar to the version depicted in core Marvel Comics storylines. Sony has yet to confirm or deny the report, but if the rumors are true, we’d love to see The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Mogan or American God’s Pablo Schreiber get the part.
