If you haven’t heard about Hot Pepper Gaming, it’s basically a combination of video game reviews and stupid dares involving trying to talk after eating the spiciest thing on the planet: hot peppers. Until recently, the record for number of habanero peppers eating in a single sitting for an episode of the show was 3, jointly held by WWE’s Xavier Woods (aka Austin Creed, host of the UpUpDownDown channel on Youtube and currently one of your Raw Tag Team Champions) and Aaron Webber, the man who runs the official Twitter account of Sonic The Hedgehog. Yes, we’re serious, and it’s a hilarious account that you should follow immediately. Anyway, like the grown man that he is, Xavier decided to break the tie in a video just posted on YouTube, where he ate a grand total of four orange habanero peppers, cut an intense promo about Sonic The Hedgehog, then demanded “all of the milk”.
For the curious, a habanero pepper is considered one of the spiciest peppers on the planet, with orange ones clocking in at between 150,000 and 250,000 Scoville units (the measurement for spiciness). By comparison, a jalapeno pepper only registers at 2,500-8,000 units on the same scale.
It should go without saying, but you probably shouldn’t try this at home.
