WATCH: We Play The Star Wars: Battlefront Beta

This past week was the open beta for Star Wars: Battlefront, and because we are all about Star Wars at Goliath, we played it. And then we thought we’d share our experience with you, in case you didn’t get a chance to play the beta (it’s over now, sadly) and still aren’t sure if you want to buy this game when it comes out in a few weeks. The good news is, the game looks spectacular and plays really well. There’s just one thing you should know: the guy playing is pretty terrible at multiplayer shooters. It’s not his fault, he grew up playing single player games. So, if you were worried about getting Battlefront because you might suck at it, rest assured, you can’t possibly be any worse than the guy in these videos.

Here he is diving straight into the incredible 20 vs 20 Hoth level, where he learns how not to fly a TIE fighter, how to get an AT-ST stuck on a cliff, and also that blasters have incredible range, apparently.

Next, he moves on to the smaller Sullust map, where he abuses grenade physics to actually get kills, and discovers how to switch to third person mode, but still has issues with map awareness.

And finally, he switches sides to the Empire in an attempt to see things from a different perspective. By now, you can probably guess how things go.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be available for sale on November 17th, 2015 for PS4, XBox One, and PC, where you’ll probably be able to kill him yourself. Seriously, he’s horrible at this. Stay tuned for more exclusive videos!
