WATCH: ‘Straight Outta Compton’ Music Video Recreated In GTA V

The new biopic film Straight Outta Compton open this past weekend, and set a new record for box office earnings by an R-rated movie, surpassing the previous record of $45.1 million held by American Pie 2.

With the film already a critical and financial success (plus a brand new album by Dr. Dre), the gangsta rap vibe from the late 80s and early 90s seems to again be at the height of popularity. Which makes it perfectly reasonable that someone would mash together an N.W.A. music video in Grand Theft Auto V.

It’s the perfect match, really. GTA has always borrowed heavily from the West Coast gangsta rap feel, especially with their GTA: San Andreas game from 2004. So forget using GTA V to recreate the openings of Arthur or Full House — this bit of creative genius is pure brilliance and oh-so-fitting.

Oh, and in case you needed a warning in an article about N.W.A, the following video contains NSFW language.
