Red Dead Redemption

WATCH: New Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Trailer Looks Awesome

Rockstar has released its second trailer for the second addition to the fan favourite game series, Red Dead Redemption 2, and it looks fantastic.

This particular trailer is a voiced over gameplay trailer, giving us around 4 minutes of brand-new gameplay along with detailing many of the game’s new features and focuses.

We’ve included the gameplay trailer below for you to check out, fans should be excited!

Rockstar states in the trailer that this is their most ambitious open world endeavor to date as a company, their goal being to blend story and action as seamlessly as possible. They’re working to give the player as many choices as the game can provide. You can travel where you want to go, do the quests that you want to, fight who you want to fight etc. This game is about taking the story in whichever direction you want.

Arthur can participate in a wide array of activities with his gang, varying from small time holdups on stores and people, going to large-scale heists.

Nearby towns and counties are chock-full of rival gangs, outlaws and other enemies, making venturing out into new areas without backup of your own both dangerous and exciting.

The trailer also goes into vague detail of some of the game’s new system features, like the newly designed Deadeye system and its progression, and the character customization aspects the game brings to the table.

Perhaps most notably for technical features would be the introduction of first-person mode, which saw amazing success and definitely contributed to the game’s popularity and longevity in Rockstar’s last game title Grand Theft Auto V.

Overall, with the footage we’ve seen so far and knowing the fantastic history of Rockstar’s games, we are truly excited to see this awesome series’ next chapter.
