‘Star Wars Battlefront’ Is Adding ‘Rogue One’ Content For Its Final Expansion

The fourth and final expansion pack for Star Wars Battlefront has been revealed and it features content based on the upcoming film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Titled Rogue One: Scarif, the pack will be released on Dec. 6, two weeks ahead of the film’s Dec. 16 release date. It will feature four new maps set on the tropical planet featured in the film’s trailers and also features Jyn Erso (played by Felicity Jones) and the villainous Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) as playable characters.

EA has also announced that a few PlayStation VR mission will be released for the PS4 version of the game on the same day, which allow players to pilot an X-Wing in virtual reality.

A sequel to Star Wars Battlefront is due out in fall 2017 and is expected to feature content from newer films in the franchise, such as The Force Awakens and Episode VIII.
