New Diablo Content Is On The Way

A job listing on Blizzard’s website has revealed that the company is looking for an art director for an unannounced project in the Diablo series.

Considering that Diablo III, the most recent entry in Blizzard’s popular RPG series, recently hit the 30 million lifetime sales mark, it’s been pretty safe to assume that the company would be planning more Diablo content in the future. That being said, this is the first confirmation that Blizzard is actively working on new Diablo content; it just remains to be seen whether the art director job is for additional Heroes of the Storm or Hearthstone content, a follow-up to last year’s Reaper of Souls expansion, or a whole new game entirely.

Polygon received a reply from a Blizzard spokesperson regarding the job posting, who stated that the company has no comment to make at this time. “We don’t have any additional information to share. We’re always working on different projects and developing new ideas, but we don’t have anything to announce at this time. . .”
