Nintendo has finally revealed its next home console and it certainly looks ambitious.

Dubbed the Nintendo Switch (formerly codenamed the NX), the console is a hybrid machine that will allow players to instantly switch between gaming at home and on-the-go. As rumored, the console will have detachable controllers and a tablet-like screen reminiscent of the Wii U’s GamePad but with much more flexibility. As the debut trailer shows, you’ll be able to play mobile multiplayer thanks to the detachable controllers, but they can also stay attached to the screen as another control option.

Some of the games teased in the trailer include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a new 3D Mario game, Skyrim, and the Wii U title Splatoon, which suggests that the Switch is backwards compatible with Wii U games.

The Nintendo Switch will launch in March 2017. Pricing details have not yet been revealed.
