The used gaming market has come full circle, as GameStop has announced that they have begun accepting trade-ins for retro consoles and games at all of its locations.
According to a post on the company’s Twitter account, the retailer will accept consoles such as the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Game Boy Color, PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Game Boy Advance, Xbox, and GameCube. Interestingly, it does not appear that the PlayStation 2 is included in this offer, probably because GameStop still has an abundance of PS2 games, consoles, and accessories laying around as it is.
If you’re curious to find out which games and consoles are elible and how much you can expect to get for them, you can find a complete list of trade-eligible products on GameStop’s website. You can also purchase retro games and consoles on that same page.
