Did Marvel Just Tease The Death Of Daredevil?

Marvel has released a single curious image depicting a mask-less Daredevil reaching out to a girl who appears to be Karen Page. In the original comics, Karen Page was murdered by Bullseye in the year 1999, which is significant because she was wearing the exact same outfit she’s depicted wearing in this recent image. This little detail has generated some interesting theories about what could be in store for Mr. Murdock.

Current Daredevil writer Charles Soule is doing a fantastic job with the series, with many fans claiming it’s the best it’s been since Frank Miller’s historic run. Not only is Soule able to write classic hero stories for Daredevil, he uses his own personal legal background to help craft authentic storylines for Matthew Murdock the lawyer.

With the glaring reference to Karen Page’s death, Daredevil fans are concerned that this could be the end for the Man Without Fear. Soule is no stranger to killing off beloved heroes, as he was the writer for the 2014 miniseries the Death of Wolverine, so could he be another big superhero death?

Whether this is referencing ‘The End’ of a character in the story, or the end of writer Charles Soule’s run, Daredevil fans should be preparing themselves for some bad news either way.

We’ll have more information on what’s in store for Daredevil on September 21.
