https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhpvSqxjzc8 Via YouTube

Now is the time of year when people head out on the open road in their motorhome – seeking out new places and experiences, and living comfortably in the confines of their beloved recreational vehicle (RV). And how comfortable people live in their motorhome varies. For people who have unlimited cash to spend, they can get an extremely nice motorhome – one that has more amenities and conveniences than most modern houses. In fact, there are many motorhomes that are extremely luxurious and cost well north of $1 million to own. Here are 10 of the most opulent, and expensive, motorhomes that a person can buy today.

10. The Cornerstone – $465,000

At nearly half a million dollars, the Cornerstone motorhome costs more than most four bedroom houses. But the manufacturer of this motorhome, Entegra Coach, claims it is worth every penny. Upfront, the Cornerstone features a spacious cabin that has every conceivable gadget and device needed to drive the vehicle safely and with ease. This includes power seats that adjust in eight different directions to allow people to get perfect positioning behind the wheel, as well as a touchscreen panel, and the most advanced global positioning system (GPS) on the market today. The rear living area of this motorhome boasts walk-in closets, quartz or marble countertops, heated floors, a luxury walk-in shower and several flat screen television sets that are embedded into the cedar lined walls. This is truly a motorhome built with class and comfort in mind.

9. Magna 630 – $495,000

For a little bit more money, you can upgrade further to the Magna 630 motorhome that is as long as a professional tour bus at 40-feet. The 600 horsepower Cummins engine under the hood allows this beast of a RV to scale mountains and traverse valleys with ease. A telescopic steering wheel, keyless entry, and remote control everything with a touchpad make this a beautiful motorhome to own. It also has walnut cabinetry, custom made furniture, a queen sized bed in the beautifully appointed bedroom, a separate dining room eating area, and comes with a built-in washer and dryer, which means no need to haul laundry to the communal facility at the various camp grounds you stop at on your adventures. If all this weren’t enough, there is even a retractable porch seating area for people to enjoy the sunsets on. Pretty sweet.

8. Amerigo International – $500,000

For people who are serious about off road adventuring, there is the Amerigao International motorhome built by UNICAT. This recreational vehicle is a bit deceptive. It looks like a large garbage truck. But the outer appearance masks a fantastic interior with functionality to spare. Billed as an “exploration vehicle,” the Amerigo International has been called the “best vehicle in which to ride out the zombie apocalypse.” Armed with lots of solar panels and a gas tank that enables the motorhome to travel 2,000 miles on a single tank, this motorhome is literally capable of traversing the entire U.S. without stopping for fuel a single time. Rugged and durable, this vehicle can handle any terrain. Inside it has a master bedroom, comfortable living area and high-end kitchen. Oh, and it has a built-in system to decontaminate water in the event of, you know, a nuclear war. So there’s that going for this vehicle too.

7. The Dynasty – $585,000

If space is your thing, then you’ll want to check out the Dynasty motorhome made by Monaco, one of the top luxury RV manufacturers in the world. Currently, the very top end of the Monaco vehicles, the Dynasty is driven by a 600 horsepower diesel engine and features a living area that was almost entirely handcrafted. This includes porcelain tiled floors, LED lighting throughout, television sets that can be controlled by the central command system in the driver’s cabin, a king sized bed, oak cabinets, walk-in closets and a gourmet kitchen. All seating is leather, and the sides extend when parked to give superior room inside the motorhome. All-in-all, this is the perfect motorhome for people who want to travel in absolute comfort and spare no expense.

6. The King Aire – $740,000

Now we’re talking. The King Aire by motorhome manufacturer Newmar is pretty damn swanky. Stepping into this luxury palace on four wheels, you could be forgiven if you forgot that you were standing inside a RV. Leather furniture, ceramic tiled floors, marble countertops, dark oak cabinets, a luxury master bedroom suite, walk-in bathroom, under mount LED lighting and a driver’s cabin that looks like it was stolen off the set of Star Trek make this a pretty damn impressive motorhome. A separate dining room and washer and dryer just add to the luxury and convenience of this stunning motor coach. Upfront, the motorhome is powered by a 600 horsepower diesel engine and includes a Safety Cruise Collission Avoidance system that adjusts the driving to current weather conditions and helps the driver avoid obstacles and road hazards. It’s all that and a bag of chips, baby!

5. The Prevost – $1 million

Here we hit the million-dollar mark. The Prevost by motorhome maker Country Coach is a RV for people who like bear skin rugs in the middle of their living room. Built more for a rock band and its entourage than a hunter who wants to go shoot a moose in the mountains, this is a motorhome that screams self-indulgence and that you’re too rich to care. White leather, dark marble and oak everything else makes this a motorhome to love. Recessed pot lighting, multiple flat screen television sets and a massive master bedroom make this a dream home on wheels. Outside, this motorhome is as big as a bus and looks like something run by the good folks at Grey Hound. But inside it is pure elegance. It also has metal blinds to shield occupants from the prying eyes of fans and paparazzi.

4. Foretravel IH-45 Luxury Motor Coach — $1.3 million

For people who know their motorhomes, there is the IH-45 Luxury Motor Coach by Foretravel. Based in Texas, Foretravel has been churning out luxury RVs since 1967. And the IH-45 happens to be the company’s most luxurious motor coach to date. This motor home is gorgeous inside and out. But what really sets this baby apart is its functional features, which include an advanced noise reduction system throughout, a 20,000 kilowatt generator, multiple sunroofs, built-in air conditioning units, a steel constructed cockpit and exterior security cameras that allow people inside the vehicle to monitor what’s happening outside. The driving cabin has been modelled on an airplane cockpit and contains every modern motoring technology available. This is a motorhome that’ll get you there and back again with comfort and style.

3. Prevost H3-45 V.I.P. – $1.6 million

If the regular Prevost isn’t enough for you, you can always upgrade to the V.I.P. model for an additional $600,000. What exactly does the extra money get you? Twelve foot ceilings to start. The Prevost H3-45 V.I.P., commonly known as the V.I.P., has the most room of any motor coach on the market today. This vehicle also provides impressive panoramic views to people who are traveling in the mountains or lake country. The entire motor coach is made with custom composite fiber that makes this vehicle both extremely light weight and extremely tough. Hard wood floors, curved marble countertops, a luxury kitchen and modern leather furniture make this a spacious and luxurious motorhome to travel in. It has all the comforts of home and more. And at a price tag of $1.6 million, you’ll need to be a V.I.P to own this beautiful motorhome.

2. Vantare Platinum Plus – $2.5 million

At $2.5 million, the Vantare Platinum Plus is a very exclusive motorhome. But the manufacturer, Featherlite, claims this vehicle lives up to the hype. An interior that features custom built sculptures, Swarovski crystals, marble steps, rare Inca marble countertops, Italian leather furniture, suede head rests, and antique bronze finishes throughout go a long way to convincing people that, yes, the hype on this motorhome is legit. Plus, the master bedroom has a king sized bed and flat screen TV set that comes up out of the floor. In addition to the washer and dryer in this motor coach, there is also a built-in treadmill for exercising, and the luxury bathroom has fixtures that were custom made in France. The driver’s cabin spews out real-time traffic and weather reports, and there is a custom area underneath the motorhome to house a car. No need to tow a car behind the RV at this price.

1. The Palazzo – $3 million

The Palazzo motorhome made by company Marchi Mobile looks rather silly. But people insist that this far out looking motor coach is the real deal. Designed to be part yacht and part motorhome, the Palazzo has a giant circular windshield that literally allows people to see everything around them for miles. The interior can best be described as sparse, although it has ample room. However, this vehicle does have a number of custom features that are truly unique, including hand cut wooden floors, a winding staircase to the upper level and a sunroof that runs the entire length of the motorhome and lets in plenty of natural light. This motorhome also contains the most marble of any vehicle on this list. Marchi Mobile says that this RV is particularly popular among Arab Sheiks. At $3 million, you’d have to be an Arab Sheikh to afford this motorhome. Not one for the suburban weekend warriors among us.
