It looks like Huey, Dewey, Louie, and their Uncle Scrooge will be saying hello to another famous Disney Duck, as it’s been confirmed than none other than Darkwing Duck himself will be showing up in the new DuckTales animated series.

As reported by SlashFilm, DuckTales‘ co-producer and story editor Francisco Angones revealed concept art of both the character and his signature motorcycle during a panel at Comic-Con 2017, confirming that he’ll make an appearance in the new series.

Darkwing Duck, which ran for three seasons between 1991-92, followed the titular masked hero as he fought crime alongside his adopted daughter Gosalyn Mallard and his sidekick Launchpad McQuack. While it’s unclear whether or not the latter two characters will be in DuckTales, other popular characters from the series, including Magica De Spell, Megavolt, Quackerjack, and Ratcatcher were all shown off at the Comic-Con panel.

It has not been announced how Darkwing Duck will be incorporated into DuckTales or who will voice him, but we won’t have to wait long to find out, as the series kicks off on Disney XD on August 12.
