Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker doesn’t hit theatres for another month but as you might expect, details about the movie’s script are already starting to emerge… and we like what we here!

Oscar Isaac recently sat down with Total Film (via The Playlist) to discuss the upcoming movie, and he revealed J.J. Abrams’ final installment in the Star Wars sequel trilogy will not only focus on the battle between the First Order vs the Resistance, but the “very long game” both the Jedi and Sith have been playing. During the interview, the Ex Machina actor said the “chess match” the opposing sides have been engaged in all these years will finally come to an end.

“What’s amazing about the story and the script is that you learn that both the Sith and the Jedi have been playing a very long game. From the get-go, there’s been this chess match. All these pieces have been played. And now we get to see who gets checkmate.”
