If you’re a Star Wars fan then chances are you’ve already seen The Force Awakens. And while you’re likely pretty familiar with the main cast by now, there are a lot of hidden celebrities in the movie who aren’t recognizable because of their costumes and brief time on screen. So to save you the trouble of buying another movie ticket just to identify the stars you missed, we thought we’d take it upon ourselves to put together this list of all the famous actors who made brief appearances in the film.

It should go without saying that there will be a few heavy spoilers in this article. If you haven’t yet seen The Force Awakens, don’t read on unless you’re not concerned about knowing the specific circumstances surrounding each actor’s appearance.

8. Bill Hader

Since he doesn’t make an actual on-screen appearance in the movie, you would have had to stick around to watch the ending credits to notice Bill Hader’s contribution to The Force Awakens. Apparently J.J. Abrams brought him in to act as a voice consultant for BB-8. In an interview with HitFix, Hader explained that his collaboration with the director largely consisted of: “JJ f—king around with this sound effects app on his iPad that was attached to a talk box operated by me. It looked ridiculous but it made BB-8’s voice. At first I tried doing a voice, but we all agreed it sounded too human.”

Hader is emerging as one of the most versatile comedians out there, and now it looks like he’s grounded himself firmly in nerd culture as well.

7. Thomas Brodie-Sangster

Best known for his roles in Game of Thrones, The Maze Runner and Love Actually, Thomas Brodie-Sangster can be found in a scene near the beginning of the movie. He plays the First Order officer who alerts the Star Destroyer commander of the unauthorized take off of the TIE Fighter Finn and Poe stole in their escape.

6. Iko Uwais

When it was reported that Indonesian martial arts master and movie star Iko Uwais (The Raid, The Raid 2) was going to have a part in The Force Awakens, the internet was buzzing with fans excited to see some expertly choreographed fight scenes in the movie. Regrettably, in his role as criminal lieutenant Razoo Quin-Fee, Uwais is promptly taken out after a brief conversation with Han Solo.

5. Warwick Davis

In 1983, an 11-year-old Warwick Davis landed his first role as Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi. Sixteen years later he returned to Star Wars to play Wald, a Rodian slave and pod racing spectator in The Phantom Menace. Now, with his appearance as a cantina patron named Wollivan in The Force Awakens, Davis is among the only actors to have a role in all three Star Wars trilogies.

4. Greg Grunberg

Greg Grunberg is probably best known for his role as Matt Parkman on Heroes and Heroes Reborn. For some reason J.J. Abrams seems to have a thing for his voice because he’s used it in both Lost and Star Trek. However, in The Force Awakens Grunberg gets some actual screen time playing Snap Wexley, an X-Wing pilot who joins Poe Dameron in the strike on the First Order’s Starkiller Base.

3. Billie Lourd

You might know her as Chanel #3 from Scream Queens, but Billie Lourd is also Carrie Fisher’s daughter. This makes her role as a Resistance officer in The Force Awakens especially fitting. The character Billie plays is Lieutenant Connix and she can be seen standing around in the background in a few scenes at the resistance base. She also has a small speaking part when she approaches Leia and asks her to take a look at something. However, without a doubt, the best part of her appearance is the sweet hair buns she’s rocking—an unmistakable tribute to her mother’s former hairdo.

2. Simon Pegg

Having become good friends with J.J. Abrams while working together on the Star Trek movies, it makes perfect sense that Simon Pegg would be offered a role in The Force Awakens. He plays Unkar Plutt, the Jakku junk dealer who Rey needs to haggle with for food rations in exchange for the mechanical parts she scrounges from crashed Star Destoyers. Even though he’s only seen making a few grumpy remarks to scavengers and other associates, his role actually has some significance when you consider that Unkar’s attempt to persuade Rey to sell him BB-8 effectively solidifies the bond between her and the droid. Unkar is also the illegitimate owner of the Millennium Falcon before Rey commandeers it and returns it to Han and Chewy.

1. Daniel Craig

Although it hasn’t been 100% percent confirmed yet, in an interview Simon Pegg divulged that Daniel Craig might have a part in The Fore Awakens. When directly questioned about his role in the film, Craig promptly denied any involvement, but, according to some insiders and Entertainment Weekly, the James Bond star plays the Stormtrooper who falls victim to Rey’s Jedi mind trick when she’s being held captive by Kylo Ren and the First Order. It’s a funny scene that’s very reminiscent of Obi-Wan-Kenobi’s “These aren’t the droids your looking for” moment from A New Hope. If it really is Craig under the Stromtrooper armor, it would seem that 007 is no match for the Force.
