A new video of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy allegedly running on an Xbox One has surfaced, suggesting that the compilation will be making its way to platforms other than PlayStation 4.
As reported by XboxAchievements, one of the game’s UI artists shared the video, which shows the remastered trilogy running with Xbox One button prompts in place of the PS4 ones. However, it’s unclear if the game is actually running on an Xbox One or PC, as the original PlayStation memory card save prompt is still shown during save screens. The original video has since been taken down.
Activision has yet to issue an official comment regarding the video or whether the N. Sane trilogy could make its way to other platforms.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was one of the top 10 selling games for the month of June and in our opinion, did a fantastic job of updating the original PlayStation games, even if they are starting to show their age. Whether the N. Sane Trilogy’s success will prompt other publishers to remaster other classic PlayStation franchises is hard to say, but we can think of a few we’d like to see happen.
