The Xbox Game Pass just got a lot more enticing.
Microsoft has announced that all first-party games from Microsoft Studios will now be added to the subscription service on their release day, beginning with Sea of Thieves on March 20.
This means that every new Microsoft-produced game, such as State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3, and future titles in the Halo, Forza, Fable, and Gears of War franchises will be available on Xbox Game Pass on their respective launch days.
Microsoft launched the “Netflix-like” Xbox Game Pass subscription service last year, allowing users to download and play a selection of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games for $9.99 per month. The service currently includes over 100 games but until now, subscribers have had to wait for high profile games such as Gears of War 4 to reach the service.
What do you think of the changes Microsoft is making? Will this be enough to convince you to subscribe to Game Pass? Let us know in the comments!
